Drainage technology is an area that has evolved very little since the invention of modern plumbing. Pipes haven’t increased in size, yet buildings are getting bigger and the volume of matter we now push through pipes are stressing them out. So, it’s not surprising that drain blockages have increased from things like: solids being flushed by waste disposals and macerators, as well as fats and solids being washed away in commercial kitchens.

The Green Drain™ is an economical floor drain trap seal that allows water to flow down the drain while preventing pests, odors, or harmful gasses/pathogens from infiltrating the living or work space. It features a specially designed flap that springs back into place — stopping reverse airflow from escaping into the room. The Green Drain™ is available in four sizes to fit most commercial floor drain pipes.

Dry Traps

Airflow can reverse direction due to a dry trap. Instead of airflow going down the drain, it moves into the living/work area—allowing germs to spread. This can lead to pathogen spread. Sewer Smells

Concentrated Cleaner: Super Degreaser

A powerful degreaser that works where others fail. This concentrated cleaner is a super-strength product formulated for extremely tough jobs. Instantly penetrates and emulsifies grease, oil, and a variety of soils.

Dilutable with up to 100 parts water for low end-use cost. Perfect for cleaning machinery, engines, factory floors, tools, trucks, and metal parts. Rust preventatives form a corrosion inhibiting coating when diluted degreaser is not rinsed from metal surfaces.

Use in automatic scrubers, pressure washers, dip tanks, or steam cleaners. Removes rubber tire marks and baked on carbon deposits. Contains no petroleum distillates, is nonflammable, noncor- rosive, and biodegradable.

Usage Directions

General Maintenance

Floors, walls, machinery, engines, conveyors, ducts, kitchen ovens and grills, air filters, shower tile, concrete, terazzo, white side walls, etc. Dilute as follows:

Light soil 1oz. / gallon
Medium soil 3oz. / gallon
Heavy soil 5oz. / gallon
Very heavy soil 26oz. / gallon

Floors

Great for cleaning oil or grease soiled floors. Use 4 oz. to a gallon of water. Can be used in a floor scrubber. For light soiled floors use 1 oz. to a gallon of water.

Machinery

Use to clean oil and gas off machinery. Good for cleaning oil filter in lawn mowers. Spray onto equipment with a 1 oz. to 16 oz. water dilution, then spray off with water hose or wipe off.

Vehicles

Spray on the vehicle with a 1 oz. to 16 oz. dilution. Scrub and rinse off.

Playground Equipment

Use to clean playground equipment by using a 1 oz. to 16 oz. water dilution. Spray on and wipe off.

Carpet

Use as a spot remover for ink, crayon, oil, food or pop stains. Spray on and wipe off. Hard spots may need to be left to soak for a minute or two. A small brush may be used.

Kitchen

Use to clean ovens, grills, outside of stove, and any place where there is heavy grease build up. Use 2 – 3 oz. per 16 oz. of water. Spray on and wipe off. Use to clean grease off kitchen floors.

Shop Areas

Use to clean tools, shop floor, and walls.

Hallways

Spray walls and floor using 1 oz. to 16 oz. water dilution. Use a horticulture sprayer for quick application.

Arenas, Gymnasiums

Spray seats, under seats, walk ways, walls, and vents. Use a horticulture sprayer for quick application. Use 1 oz. to 16 oz. water.

Usage Directions

General Maintenance

Use Blue Lagoon in wash water to mop hard surface floors, using 4 oz. to filled mop bucket. Use a spray, 1 oz. to 16 oz. of water, to clean desktops, chairs, and other surfaces above the floor. Spray into air conditioning and heating vents and filters. Use 1 oz. to 16 oz. of water. Place a shallow pan with undiluted Blue Lagoon in crawl space or basement to eliminate odors caused by rodents, mildew, or animal urine that may have permeated subfloor. Mist carpets, drapes, and furniture to eliminate smoke, food, and pet odors.

Restrooms

Spray and wipe vanity surfaces with a 1 oz. to 16 oz. water dilution. Spray around fixtures during the day and spray into air conditioning vents and heat vents. Mop the floor with a 2 oz. to 1 gallon of water dilution. Pour into floor drains to prevent sewer gas odors.

Carpets

Use Blue Lagoon in place of shampoo to clean the carpets. Use 1 oz. to 1 gallon of water as shampoo in carpet cleaner extraction equipment.

Pet Stains

Clean as much matter from carpet as possible. Apply undiluted Blue Lagoon liberally, allowing it to penetrate to the subfloor. Allow to dry, treat again if necessary. For general control of pet odors, use 2 oz. to 16 oz. of water. Spray in litter boxes, kennels, pet beds, garages, etc. Spray on animals, avoiding eye area.

Flying Insects

Spray undiluted into dumpsters, trash chutes and recepticles to control odor and flying insects.

Laundry

Use Blue Lagoon and laundry detergent to eliminate odors in clothing, sheets, and towels. Mix 2 oz. per 30 lb. load. Mist comforters & sleeping bags to freshen between dry cleanings.

RV, Bus, & Aircraft Toilets

Dilute at rate of 2-4 oz. to each of 5 gallons of water (2 gallons per 400 gallons of water).

Other

Use Blue Lagoon to wash windows, mirrors, and chrome. Use 1⁄2 oz. to 16 oz. of water. Use as a spray for refrigerators, diaper pails, and other surfaces. Use 2 oz. in 16 oz of water.

Directions

Before use, make sure the floor is free of loose dirt and debris. Add 1–2 oz. per gallon
of cold or warm water and mix thoroughly in a mop bucket. (Do NOT dilute with hot water.) For heavily greasy floors, use 4 oz. per gallon. Mop and saturate floor with the mixture.

Let the cleaner dwell on the floor 15–30 minutes for penetration. Scrub the floor with a stiff, bristled brush. Squeegee the remaining water into the floor drain. DO NOT RINSE. Allow to air dry. No personal protective equipment (eyewear or gloves) is required to use Step Safe.
