New Franchises in Colorado and Michigan

The Aire-Master system continues to add new franchisees and develop new territory. In July and August we completed training sessions and licensed 3 new franchises. This brings the total number of Aire-Master locations to 108 with 104 franchises and 4 company-owned locations.

Aire-Master of Northeast Colorado

Phil Canipe, Aire-Master of Northern Colorado has been in business since October 2011. He had a great service representative, Kathy Kelley-Ervin ,who asked Phil if he would ever consider transferring off a portion of his franchise. Phil had a growth plan do that and started discussions with Kathy and her husband, Bob.

The Ervins transferred the following counties in Northeast Colorado: Logan County, Morgan County, Phillips County, Sedgwick County, Washington County, Weld County, and Yuma County. They also received the following counties in Western Nebraska: Banner County, Kimball County, and Scotts Bluff County.

Bob Ervin is a high school math teacher and also saw the great opportunity for their family with an Aire-Master franchise. They both attended the July 27–31 Stinkie University training session and received their franchise license for Aire-Master of Northeast Colorado.

Aire-Master of North Denver

Phil Canipe’s father, Terry Canipe (Aire-Master of the Front Range), recently transferred off the north side of the metro Denver area to David Darmafall. David lived in the Fort Collins, Colorado, area and attended church with Phil, as well as with Daniel and Laura Tucker (Aire-Master of the Colorado Highlands).

David had been a missionary overseas and recently came off the mission field. David’s parents lived near the Denver area, and Phil told him that there was an Aire-Master franchise opportunity in the Denver area. David talked with Terry, worked out the details, and applied for a franchise license.

David was approved, attended the August 24–28 Stinkie University training, and received his franchise license for Aire-Master of North Denver.

Aire-Master of Southwest Michigan

Mike and Kristina Zelasko started their franchise, Aire-Master of Western Michigan, in November 1990. For the past 18 months, Sue Downard and Don Schomish have been working to transfer a portion of the Zelaskos’ franchise. They finally worked out a purchase agreement, completed the Aire-Master license approval process, and attended the August 24–28 Stinkie University training.

Sue has worked for years for Hewlett Packard and Don has owned many companies. He has invented products and owns many patents.

Sue and Don’s franchise is Aire-Master of Southwest Michigan and includes the following counties in Grand Rapids Michigan area: Barry County, Ionia County, Kent County, Muskegon County, and Ottawa County. They will begin their franchise with existing customers and Don’s daughter will work for them.

Welcome to the family!
