Trash Can Liners 101:
There are two types of trash can liners available and it is important to know which one, high density and low density, is right for you. High Density: A thicker bag because it is made from a lot of recycled plastic. High Density bags will tear easier and will actually "zipper" causing the tear to continue breaking out the entire bag dispensing entire contents on to the floor. Low Density: Usually a thinner bag because it is made from virgin plastic (not recycled). Low Density will stretch better and if you poke a hole it will stretch and not "zipper, keeping contents inside the bag.
