Aire-Master
The Odor Buster system works continuously, eliminating odors without cover-ups. Odor Buster deodorant bars are nontoxic, nonsensitizing, and biodegradable. Environmentally friendly, safe for use around humans and pets and completely VOC compliant.
Gels
Most gel products are mere air freshener cover-ups that do not eliminate odor. They put out strong fragrances that last only a few days and quickly fade. The fragrances tend to be of low quality.
Physical Absorption
Metered sprays use atomized particles to physically absorb odor molecules in the air. They spray at timed intervals, providing only a short-lived solution. The disadvantage is that the wet fallout from the spray ends up on the floor, along with the odor molecules. The odors can then evaporate into the air again. There are potential liability issues with using metered aerosol products. Product include ingredients such as ether, acetone, and propane which can be harmful if breathed in confined spaces. Product can spray on objects or people. Label warns against excessive inhalation in confined spaces, damage that can be caused to plastic, painted, and varnished surfaces, and contents are under pressure and must be kept away from extreme heat.
Drip, Drip, Drip
Drip systems are expensive, high maintenance units that often function poorly. The liquid flows through a tube into a toilet or urinal to seal unwanted urine odors. Drip systems can malfunction and dispense product improperly before the end of the service period. Drip systems do nothing to eliminate airborne odors. They are prone to high vandalism and one drip unit is required for each toilet and urinal fixture.
Liquids
Liquids are messy and labor intensive to service. The fragrances tend to be of low quality. VOC regulations have hindered the performance of many liquids on the market.
Ozone Machines
These units are extremely expensive, require a lot of labor to move them from location to location. Studies have shown that high concentrations of ozone can be harmful to breathe. People that suffer from breathing issues can also be affected by the high concentration of ozone that these units produce.
